Operator & Licensing
The service is operated by D&D, a fully insured noleggio con conducente (NCC) charter registered with the Venice Chamber of Commerce and listed in the Registro Navi Minori. All skippers hold a valid Italian coastal-navigation licence (patente nautica entro 12 M) and STCW first-aid certification. Navigation is strictly within the Venetian Lagoon; the Grand Canal and other ZTL-acquea zones are excluded unless separately authorised by the Harbour Master. -
Scope of Service
Each booking reserves a private boat with skipper-guide for up to five (5) passengers plus crew. The price includes fuel, safety equipment, bottled water on board, and VAT. Hotel transfers, personal purchases, the municipal Venice Access Fee (when applicable), and gratuities are not included. -
Booking, Payment & Confirmation
A 30 % deposit confirms the reservation; the balance is due seven (7) days before departure. Payments are processed in euros via secure credit-card gateway or SEPA transfer. Your e-voucher—showing meeting point at Fondamente Nove (public pier “B”) and skipper contact—serves as your ticket; please present it digitally or in print on the day. -
Cancellation & Changes by Guest
• Free cancellation up to 72 h before departure — full refund.
• 72 h–24 h — 50 % refund.
• < 24 h or no-show — no refund.
Date or passenger-name changes are free of charge when requested at least 48 h in advance and subject to availability. -
Cancellation, Delay or Route Modification by Operator
Tours run in light rain, but may be postponed, curtailed or cancelled if:-
wind ≥ 25 kn, thunderstorm or visibility < 500 m;
-
exceptional high tide / MOSE barrier closure that blocks the inlets;
-
authorities impose navigation restrictions (e.g., police speed-control operations or regattas).
Where feasible we will offer an alternative schedule or full refund; liability is limited to monies paid for the affected service.
